Palestinian commission: Illegal Israeli settlements in West Bank reach 592 by July The number of illegal Israeli settlements and outposts in the occupied West Bank has reached 592 by the end of July, according to the Palestinian Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission. The sites comprise 192 settlements and 400 outposts, including 231 pastoral outposts. The commission said nearly 780,000 Israeli settlers were living in these settlements: around 333,600 in Jerusalem settlements and 446,400 elsewhere.
