Protester blinded in one eye sentenced to death after return to Iran

An Iranian court has sentenced Ali Zarei Doozdarresi, a protester shot by security forces and blinded in one eye during the 2022 protests, to death after he returned from Germany and was arrested upon arrival in Iran, US-based rights outlet HRANA reported.
