An overnight strike on a residential building in al-Rimal neighbourhood, west of Gaza City, has so far left six people dead, according to Al Jazeera. Israel says they killed Mohammed Odeh, the head of Hamas's armed wing, who succeeded the former chief Izz al-Din al-Haddad in mid-May.
