Tehran says US proposal sought Iran’s surrender
Tehran says US proposal sought Iran’s surrender Iran rejected the latest American proposal because it sought to impose “surrender” on Tehran, Iranian state television said on Sunday evening. The report said Iran’s response demanded compensation for losses suffered during the war that began on 28 February, including the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, senior commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and widespread infrastructure destruction. Iranian television added that Tehran also called for the lifting of sanctions and the release of frozen Iranian funds and assets.
