Tehran warns it will 'no longer be bound' by MoU if attacks continue
Tehran warns it will 'no longer be bound' by MoU if attacks continue Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations, Amir Saeid Iravani, warned that Tehran could stop honouring the memorandum of understanding with Washington if US attacks continue, accusing the United States of a “flagrant violation” of the UN Charter. “Should the United States continue to violate its obligations under the MoU, Iran will no longer be bound to fulfil its obligations under the MoU,” Iravani told reporters outside the UN Security Council. He said Iran remained committed to the agreement “provided that the United States fully and faithfully complies with its own obligations”.
