Trump cancels envoy visit to Pakistan, says Iran can ‘call us’ to negotiate US President Donald Trump told Fox News that he had cancelled Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, from travelling to Pakistan for talks. The announcement comes after Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi left Islamabad with his delegation. Trump told the US News network that it was “not worth” his envoys travelling 18 hours to Pakistan for talks with Iran, adding that Tehran could simply call Washington if it wished to establish a deal.
