He also said that the US would be there for Iraq if it needed protection, without indicating what would prompt this. Meanwhile, Zaid said that Iraq needed a "fair share" within the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (Opec) when asked by reporters if he was considering leaving the group.
