Speaking in the White House on Monday, Trump appeared to reference claims that the US had provided weaponry to Kurdish opposition groups during the US-Israeli assault on Iran that began in late February. Iranian Kurdish leaders have denied the claims they were handed weaponry by the US to provide to opponents of the Islamic Republic.
