Turkey allows visa exemptions to Syrian diplomatic passport holders An official presidential decision in Turkey has granted visa exemptions to Syrians holding diplomatic passports, the Official Gazette reported. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan signed the decision on 27 August, which would also see exemptions applied to tourist visits of up to 90 days within any 180-day period as well as transit travel through Turkey.
