Two of Iran’s biggest steel plants put out of service following US-Israeli attacks Two of Iran’s largest steel plants say they have been put out of service due to US-Israeli airstrikes targeting their operations. “Production lines have completely shut down following the high volume of attacks,” Mobarakeh Steel Company said, while the head of operations at Khuzestan Steel Company claimed units halted by the strikes will not be able to resume production for at least six months. On 27 March, Israeli forces said they struck steel plants connected to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, but provided no proof of such links.
