UAE, Qatar intercept missiles and drones The United Arab Emirates and Qatar say their air defence systems have intercepted missiles and drones launched from Iran as the Israeli-US war drags neighbouring countries into the conflict. The UAE Ministry of Defence said its forces shot down three ballistic missiles and 121 drones targeting the country. Officials added that eight drones fell inside Emirati territory.
