UAE says it is responding to incoming missiles The United Arab Emirates ministry of defence has said its air defence systems are currently responding to “incoming missile and drone threats from Iran”. The ministry said the sounds that can be heard in the country are the air defence systems intercepting missiles and drones. The statement came after the UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan said the country is fully prepared to confront security threats.
