UK summons Israeli diplomat over video by Israeli minister of Gaza flotilla activists Britain on Thursday said it had summoned Israel's top diplomat in the country over a video posted by National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir taunting activists detained after a Gaza-bound flotilla was intercepted. "This behaviour violates the most basic standards of respect and dignity for people," Britain's foreign ministry said in a statement. "We are also deeply concerned by the detention conditions depicted and have demanded an explanation from the Israeli authorities.
