UN calls for protection of civilians in Gaza amid Israeli attacks A UN spokesperson said that three UN warehouses were damaged in an Israeli air strike on Sunday, with one significantly affected. ⁠ ⁠ In a press conference on Monday he called for greater protection for civilians in Gaza, saying: "Civilians and civilian infrastructure, including humanitarian facilities, must never be a target, and must be protected". ⁠ ⁠ He added that greater aid should be allowed in to prevent further malnutrition of children after Israel has failed to provide the agreed upon amount following a ceasefire with Hamas in October.
