UN mission urges Iran to drop bill criminalizing foreign contacts

The UN’s fact-finding mission on Iran called for the immediate withdrawal of legislation that could expose Iranians to up to 30 years in prison for contact with foreign individuals and organizations, according to a statement released Thursday.
