West Bank violence: Israeli forces open fire during raid, settlers vandalise home Palestinian media has reported land seizure, vandalism and raids by the Israeli military and settlers in the occupied West Bank: * Israeli forces detained a Palestinian resident, Karim Asakreh, while he was passing through a military checkpoint, east of Bethlehem, on Saturday, according to Wafa news agency. * Israeli settlers, meanwhile, vandalised Suwais family’s home and felled trees on the property in the Khalayel al-Louz area, southeast of the city. * The Israeli military, raided the towns of Nazla al-Sharqiya and Qaffin, north of Tulkarm, at dawn in the occupied West Bank, Wafa reported.
