Yemen closes all airports until further notice after Sanaa attack
Yemen closes all airports until further notice after Sanaa attack Yemen’s civil aviation authority has ordered the closure of all its airports to air traffic until further notice after the Aden-based government said its forces carried out a strike on Sanaa airport to prevent an Iranian aircraft from landing there. The leader of Yemen’s Aden-based governing council, Rashad al-Alimi, which is backed by Saudi Arabia, also said on Monday that he would not expand his confrontation with the Houthis as “that would achieve Iran’s objective of dragging Yemen and its people into wars”.
