New Delhi [India], March 16 (ANI): A sharp rise in crude oil prices could push global inflation higher and slow down global economic growth in 2026, according to Gita Gopinath, former Chief Economist of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

Rajesh Kumar Sinha, the ministry’s special secretary, told a news conference in New Delhi that the vessels passed through the strategic waterway early on Saturday and are now continuing towards India. “They crossed the Strait of Hormuz early this morning safely and are en route to India,” Sinha said.
